Air cover during the special flight was carried out by fighter aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force.
A few days ago, Tu-160s already carried out a similar flight along the border of Belarus. President of the republic Alexander Lukashenko called this raid an indicator of reliable protection of the country’s borders.
The day before, six Tu-22 bombers flew over Belarus as part of the Slavic Brotherhood exercise and hit the enemy’s conditional targets.
