Russian servicemen fired from “Bumblebee” rocket-throwers at a simulated enemy at the Totsk training ground in the Orenburg region.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, flamethrower units of the 2nd Guards Army of the Central Military District took part in the exercises. It is noted that the fighters arrived at the shooting site after making a 5 km march.
“Shooting was carried out from rocket-propelled flamethrowers” Shmel “with ammunition of a volumetric explosion at a distance of up to 400 m”, – said in the military department.
The Ministry of Defense added that the servicemen were allowed to fire only after performing exercises from training flamethrowers with excellent marks.
On August 14, the military of the Central Military District, using Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems, during the exercises, worked out the destruction of the ammunition depot and the command post of the mock enemy.
