Military Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District fired Soviet T-34s on the eve of Tanker Day. This was announced on Friday, September 11, by the press service of the Western Military District.
It is noted that the opportunity to fire from the “Tank of Victory” was provided only to the best tankers. The crews worked out loading ammunition, loading, searching for targets, aiming and firing at various distances.
In addition, the tankers overcame various obstacles and completed maneuvering tasks.
The press service emphasized that only in the tank army of the Western Military District officers and soldiers have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the device, the principle of operation, and the features of driving the legendary tank of the Soviet Union.
On September 10, it was reported that Russian servicemen fired from “Shmel” rocket-throwers at a simulated enemy at the Totsk training ground in the Orenburg region.
