Four crews from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and China fought for leadership at once. After overcoming the circles of the tank biathlon track, tankers from the Russian Federation and China took the lead.

“The driver-mechanic of the third Russian crew developed an extremely high speed on the third lap, which became a decisive factor in the victory of the Russian tankers who finished first,” Interfax quotes a message from the joint press center of the games.

Thus, the Chinese team took second place. The third were tankers from Belarus, and the fourth – from Azerbaijan.

In total, teams from 19 countries of the world, including Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, took part in the competitions, which took place from August 23 to September 5. All of them have repeatedly become prize winners of competitions in past years.

On August 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin greeted the participants and guests of the Army 2020 international military-technical forum and the International Army Games 2020. The head of state noted the importance of building trusting relations in the field of security and military-technical cooperation (MTC).
