Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the launch of Bulava missiles from the Vladimir Monomakh submarine. This was announced on Saturday, December 12, at the Ministry of Defense.
“The strategic missile submarine Vladimir Monomakh of the Pacific Fleet from a submerged position fired a salvo of four Bulava ballistic missiles at a range of more than 5.5 thousand km from the Sea of Okhotsk,” the message says.
It is noted that all missile warheads have successfully arrived in a given area of the Chizha battlefield.
Training in the management of strategic offensive forces began on December 9. The forces and assets of the ground, naval and aviation components of the strategic nuclear forces of Russia were involved in the training.
The missiles were launched as part of planned combat training activities. The destination was the Chizha training ground in the Arkhangelsk region. When preparing and conducting salvo rocket fire, the crew of the agro-industrial complex showed high professionalism and maritime training.
