Russian military musicians of the 201st Russian base in Tajikistan congratulated the children of Russian military personnel in kindergartens and schools on the upcoming year 2021, performing songs from domestic cartoons and films. This was reported by the press service of the Central Military District (CVO) on Thursday, December 31.
Congratulations were made in preschool institutions in the cities of Dushanbe and Bokhtar during the walks of the children. Servicemen from the Russian Federation performed melodies for the children from songs such as “Song of a hare and a wolf at the carnival”, “A Christmas tree was born in the forest”, “Song of Cheburashka”, “Song of Gena the Crocodile”, etc.
In total, Russian military musicians congratulated more than 1,000 children in two schools and two kindergartens located in Tajikistan, said the battalion’s deputy commander for military political work, Major Ruslan Besedin.
Earlier, on December 31, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu congratulated the military and veterans on the upcoming New Year. The head of the Ministry of Defense drew attention to the fact that the pandemic “abruptly changed the usual way of life,” but as a result, the fight against it only brought people closer together.
