Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the implementation of the country’s defense plan for 2021-2025. The corresponding document was published on Friday, November 13, on the official Internet portal of legal information.

According to the document, the plan will enter into force on January 1 next year.
“To enter into force from January 1, 2021, the defense plan of the Russian Federation for 2021-2025,” – follows from the decree.
The decree comes into force on November 13.
On the evening of November 13, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov, and Emergencies Minister Yevgeny Zinichev. It was dedicated to the solution of humanitarian issues in Karabakh.
At the meeting, the Russian leader expressed his hope that the conflict in the region would be resolved.
