The headset with an active hearing protection system GSSH-01 6M2 from the modern combat equipment “Ratnik” is designed to protect the hearing organs from the effects of acoustic shocks (shots, explosions, etc.). But, on the other hand, due to the built-in microphones, you will hear, for example, the steps of a walking person. That is, in such a headset, you are not stunned by loud sounds, but you will be able to distinguish quiet ones, which the human ear cannot pick up without special equipment.
The design of GSSH-01 6M2 is simple: two headphones connected with a wire at the back, and a mesh headband with a tightening at the crown, which is attached to the headphones using loops and a textile fastener. With the help of an elastic headband, the headset is fixed to the size of the head.
The headphones are large, with leather substitute cushions, fit snugly to the head, and perfectly shield the hearing from loud sound sources. They do not create discomfort when worn. On the front side of the headphones there are built-in microphones, they are covered with foam rubber and rubber caps.
There are three control buttons on the left earpiece. To turn on / off the headset, you need to hold down the middle button for a long time until you hear a beep. The other two buttons are used to adjust the volume; there are 4 levels in total. Two AA batteries are used for power supply.
