The Russian Ministry of Defense has received 14.5 thousand vaccines against coronavirus, more than 10 thousand servicemen have already been vaccinated. This was announced on Friday, December 11, by the official representative of the department, Major General Igor Konashenkov.

According to him, first of all, doctors, crews of the Navy and Aerospace Forces, combat crews of the Strategic Missile Forces, commanders of the Armed Forces are vaccinated.
“In accordance with the plan approved by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, by the end of 2020, about 100 thousand servicemen will be vaccinated against the coronavirus,” the representative of the Ministry of Defense added.
To accomplish this task, 300 brigades of military doctors have been formed in the military districts and in the Northern Fleet. The delivery of the vaccine is carried out in medical thermal containers, excluding violation of the temperature storage regime, Konashenkov noted.
On December 3, sailors of the frigate “Admiral of the Fleet Kasatonov” were the first in the Northern Fleet to vaccinate against COVID-19; a day earlier, vaccination of servicemen began in the Central Military District, Gazeta.ru writes.
