In the Orenburg region, at the Donguz training ground, large-scale exercises started as part of the final check of the Central Military District (CVD). This was announced on Monday, October 26, at the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Earlier on the same day, the press service of the Central Military District reported that in the Samara and Orenburg regions, a communications brigade, missile and artillery formations of the 2nd combined-arms army of the district were raised on alarm. In total, more than 3 thousand servicemen were involved in the exercise, who made a combined march of 400 km to the Donguz training ground.
It is assumed that the group of forces will practice actions to control missile strikes and artillery fire. Live fires will be carried out from missile systems, MLRS, howitzers, artillery cannons and mortars.
